ER-104/B/2W Electrode Relay – Key Features
- Function: Designed for conductive level detection in liquids using immersion electrodes or signal pickups.
- Applications:
- Limit level detection (e.g., overflow, dry run)
- Min./Max. control
- Pump control with hysteresis
- Contact protection relay for low-load signal pickups
- Working Principle:
- Electrodes immersed in conductive liquid generate a low AC voltage.
- This current is evaluated by the switching amplifier.
- Relay switches when the current exceeds an adjustable trigger point.
- Adjustable Working Direction:
- Closed circuit: Relay activates when electrodes are dry.
- Open circuit: Relay activates when electrodes are wet.
- Construction:
- Slimline housing (22.5 mm width) for space-efficient installation
- Composed of three functional units:
- Power supply
- Switching amplifier with hold function
- Switching relay with SPDT output
- Output: Potential-free SPDT contact for flexible integration
- Compatibility: Works with immersion probes, float switches, pressure bell switches, and other signal pickups
